Country Cottage – Bedfordshire

This stunning countryside cottage was upgraded with a fresh paint from top to bottom, and the kitchen tiles replaced.

Window treatments:
The sheer roller blinds on all the windows give the privacy needed, and to add a dressed touch to the windows the customer chose to have Roman Blinds outside the recess.

All blinds are made to the European Child Safety Standard – the sheer blinds have a spring mechanism with a pull cord and a stylish modern toggle; the Roman blinds have a child safety break-away system where the chain can be up to 60cm from the floor and does not need to be retained to the wall. As this is a cottage with very low windows, these safety features are essential.

Fused blackout lining has been added to all the blinds to add a structured look to the design. This will also keep the sunshine at bay from early morning wakings during summertime

The colour schemes for the soft furnishings are soft grey complimented with yellow and Eue de Nil, all the rooms flow well together and the self- build wooden dining table compliments the modern contemporary rustic look.
